Ingredients
The Dough
  • ¼ cup Lukewarm Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast (Refer Note 1)
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour

  • ¼ cup Melted Butter (preferably Unsalted butter)
  • 1 Tablespoon thick plain Yogurt or Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Glaze
  • ¼ cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4-5 Tablespoon Milk or Water
  • 半茶匙香草精
Note
  • Yeast - If you don't have instant yeast,你可以先用活性干酵母证明。Add the yeast to the warm milk & sugar and let it"“证明”for 2 minutes
  • You will need 2 sizes of cookie cutter or caps of bottles to cut out the donuts

The Dough
  1. 为了微温的牛奶,加糖搅拌均匀。
  2. Sprinkle yeast,mix and rest for 2 minutes.
  3. Add flour,盐,vanilla extract,melted butter,yogurt (or sour cream) and mix till it comes together.
  4. 用手,knead for 10-12 minutes to form a smooth and elastic dough.
  5. 给面团上油,放在干净的碗里。
  6. 盖上湿布,让面团在温热的地方发酵1-2小时或直到体积加倍。
  7. Use the dough as required.
  1. To powdered sugar,每次加1汤匙牛奶(或水)。

  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Prepare the glaze just before you fry the donuts
Making the donuts (doughnuts)
  1. Transfer the dough to a clean surface.Punch it down gently.
  2. Divide the dough into 2-4 pieces (for managing easily)
  3. 使用滚销,roll the dough to a 1 inch thick sheet of dough.它不需要是任何完美的圆形或矩形,since you are going to cut out donuts.
  4. 用一个曲奇刀,cut out round shapes.Using a smaller round cutter,cut out donut holes and set aside.So you have donuts & donut holes from each round disk.

  6. Cover the pieces loosely & let them rest for 20 minutes.
  7. 加热一些植物油炸甜甜圈。

  9. Remove with a slotted spoon on a tissue paper.
  10. 当甜甜圈还热的时候,dip into the glaze (as many times as you want depending on how thick you want the glaze to be).Yo can dip one side or both,取决于你的喜好。
  11. Serve the donuts warm!!
Note
  1. You can store them in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.Warm them in microwave for 15-20 seconds before serving
